UPSC Vacancy 2025 Category-Wise Distribution

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria	Description
Nationality	Indian citizens for IAS/IFS. Other categories can apply for other services.
Age Limit	21 to 32 years as of 1st August 2025 (Relaxations applicable).
Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Number of Attempts	General – 6, OBC – 9, SC/ST – Unlimited.
Physical Standards	As per government guidelines.

Application Process

1. OTR Registration	Register once at OTR Portal.
2. Application Submission	Fill out the online application form.
3. Photo ID Requirement	Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, etc. required.
4. Fee Payment	Rs. 100 (Exemptions for SC/ST/PwBD/Women).
5. Correction Window	12th – 18th February 2025.
